What do we get out of uni? Interest? Or just better careers?

You decide!!!... If you thiink both, or neither - maybe tell otherws why?
Anyway - don't all students just come to uni these days - simply because they feel they should - or because they're told to - or they're 'marketed' to by the gov't ? - whether old, young, or 'mature' in the strict definition of uni (ie. over 21 !).
I came becausde I wanted to expand my experiences, interests, broaden my life, epand my mind, meet new friends, learn, challenge myself, and all of course - with the option to perhaps earn loads more one day - or maybe just a bit more.
